When do you ship? How fast?
We ship the same business day (whenever possible), or next business day from when we are notified by the credit card processor that your order payment is cleared. Payment notification emails received by 2PM CST M-F will ship that same day. We ship on most Saturdays as well, but Saturday cutoff time for Saturday shipping is 10AM CST.

Do you have a return policy?
Yes. Unless an item description states "NO RETURNS" (which is rare, as most of our items are returnable). If "no returns" is not specified in the specific item listing, then the full purchase price is refunded if merchandise has not been damaged by buyer, and if item is returned within 10 days of receipt; HOWEVER, to receive a purchase refund, buyer must first email us to discuss return authorization and confirmation of return shipping method to be used, BEFORE returning item. Original shipping cost paid by buyer will be refunded also, if the return is due to a seller error or defective merchandise.

Do you accept credit and debit card payments?
Yes. We do not take credit card info directly from buyers. Shopping cart checkout does not disclose your credit card number to us, other than the last four digits of your credit card number. Your payment is authorized privately between the shopping cart credit card processor and your credit card company.

Do you accept personal checks or money orders for payment?
We do not accept checks or money orders. Credit and debit cards are accepted, but your card information must be submitted through the private eCrater shopping cart checkout process.

How long have you been in business?
We began selling vacuum parts on the internet in 2002, on the *bay site. We are registered as a business ("Raymond Vacuum Supply") in DuPage County, Illinois.

Are items genuine OEM parts, or, aftermarket?
We sell both types, but items listed for sale will be specified either as "OEM" or "genuine", vs in the case of aftermarket items, the term "generic", "aftermarket", or "replacement" will be specified instead. Note that, for some repair part items (motor bearings, screws, etc.) there is usually no "OEM" manufactured part. In such cases, we sell only the same or better quality specification part as was installed in the original machine by the manufacturer.

Are all items in stock?
Yes. Only what we have in stock, ready to ship, will enable a purchase to be made for that item. We do not allow backorders. We ship ASAP upon notification of payment, which is on the same or next business day . . . (payment notifications received too late in the day for same-day shipment will ship on the next business day).

What is your Privacy Policy?
Your name, shipping address, and email address are sent to us by eCrater after you pay for a purchase here from the website store. Your telephone number may also be provided to us by them, if you choose to make it available. We use your email address as the primary method of contacting you to confirm shipping or for any other matters regarding your order status. We will not telephone you unless you request us to, but we may if we are unsuccessful contacting you by email regarding a problem with your order or payment . . . . We will never sell or share any of your contact information with a third party (except for IRS audits or to comply with legal court orders, if requested).

Is there a shipping discount for purchasing multiple items?
Usually, yes . . . occasionally, no . . . it depends on the items. To receive combined shipping, you must email us in advance of purchases, for a total shipping charge quote on the items you plan to purchase ... (please include items, quantities, and your zip code). wait for our reply and payment instructions .... If you make separate purchases and pay for them separately .... we will be obliged to ship them separately, to enable the shipping carrier company to provide a proof of package delivery to match each separate order payment that was made.
